Hi Romeo,

I hope you still remember me. I was searching for my Torres High School classmates, Hermelina Evangelista, Aurora Lintag (sad to know she passed away over a year ago), We were very close. We even organized one of our reunions. Then I searched for your blog. I showed my husband your artworks and he was very impressed. One of my daughters is an artist too. Her name is Rochelle Padua and she has a blog too. It is nice to be able to communicate after so many years. We live in Sydney Australia. God bless you. Normalita Borbon Padua

Normalita,
so glad you found my blog. did you know the 1962 batch classmates have a chatroom? Go to THS 1962 and sign up so you will have an access to what they are cooking. They have something in the oven that i'm sure you don't want to miss. Pls. Give me your daughter's blog site. I'm interested to see it.

Hi Romeo,

Honestly, I am just learning how to go about using the internet. I forgot my daughter's blog. But if you go into this website www.illosight.com.au and select illustrator Rochelle Padua, you will be able to see some of her illustrations. Now I will have to ask my daughter how to go to a chatroom. That's how ignorant I am. Anyway my email address is npadua@optusnet.com.au. God bless.

Hi, Romy,
This makes my heart ache for the life in a Philippine province. Your authentic rendition of the landscape is terrific. I can smell the scent of the soil in the heat of a summer day...the delicate crushing of the dry fallen leaves on the parched gound underneath my feet...the stillness of the air, yet there's a sweetness to it. You've captured the essence of a scenery that I most love in PI.

To Anita,
There's no other place like the Philippines, my country, my home. I've been living here in this beautiful North America half of my life enjoying it's comfort and richness. But why is it that my mind and body still longing for her embrace? Maybe the answer lies on why the salmon always goes back to where it started.
